A-Rod has been a busy man while in Canada
I was looking for this vid since last night and I finally managed to find it, albeit not one with such great quality. It's A-Rod shouting something at the Toronto Blue Jays third baseman, distracting him into letting a pop-up drop and a run to score. The play happened with 2 outs in the ninth inning, as New York won 10-5.
I just said, 'Hah!' That's it," Rodriguez said. "Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
Well, the Blue Jays were less than happy with how that scenario played out.
The thing about the Yankees, one of the reasons they're so respected, is they do things right. Always have," manager John Gibbons said. "They've got a lot of pride and a lot of class. They play the game hard.
That's not Yankee pride right there," he said. "That's not the way they play. I thought it was bush league.
You can clearly see A-Rod say something with 1:38 remaining in the vid. He yelled, Howie Clark flinched and a run scored. Now, I found the whole incident to be amusing in a way, but I do understand that the Jays are pissed. If A-Rod came into Atlanta and pulled a stunt like that, I'd be hoping for John Smoltz or Tim Hudsonto drill him in the crotch the next time he comes up to bat.
All in all, it's been an eventful couple of days for A-Rod in Toronto.

So what I want to know, is why the Jay's pitcher didn't plunk the next guy? That would have been the right thing to do - put on right in the guy's earhole.
I don't think plunking Giambi would've helped that much.
A-Rod pulled the stunt, he should be the one on the receiving end of that fastball.
