Date set for Culpepper hearing

Daunte Culpepper's hearing in which he'll try to break free from Miami will be held June 29th in New York according to Espn. The two sides will present their cases to veteran arbitrator John Feerick, the same arbitrator that ruled on the Steve McNair case last season.
I really wish that Miami would just release Culpepper and get it over with. The conventional wisdom is to try and trade him and get at least something in return, but it's gotten to the point where I just want them to let him go.
Daunte clearly doesn't want to restructure his contract, so trading him won't be easy. The fact that he's not allowed to practice also doesn't help his preparation for the season much, so the faster he can get signed somewhere and start practicing, the better for him. Also, the longer this drags on, the bigger the chance at locker room problems. I can imagine Daunte being upset, expressing his disgust to other players and maybe dividing the team a bit.
So yes, I hope this somehow works out for the best, for both parties, because it's looking very bleak right now.
