It had to happen sooner or later

It seemed to be taking an eternity but Barry Bonds has tied Hank Aaron at 755. Bonds led off the second inning with the historic blast off of Padres pitcher Clay Hensley. The game is still in progress so there's a chance that he could still break the record tonight.

I'm actually hoping that he does break it tonight so that Pedro Gomez can finally see his family again. And you have to feel bad for A-rod right now. Even on the day that he becomes the youngest ever to reach 500 homers, he still gets upstaged by Barry.
