I guess you'll have to click the image to get a better a view but one of Espn's headlines today reads like this : "Eagles cut LB Trotter; he'll try to sign elsewhere"

Trotter, who's a 4-time Pro-Bowler and a leader on Philly's defense surprisingly got released today and Espn would like us to know that he'll "try to sign elsewhere". Groundbreaking stuff really.

I mean, it's not like we're talking about 63 year old Vinny Testaverde or a practically dead Curtis Martin. Trotter is 30 years old and coming off of a season where he had 113 tackles so it's not like he's going to sit at home and drool from his eyes. I'd be surprised if Trotter didn't try to sign elsewhere but yeah, luckily we have Espn to keep us informed on these tough decisions.
