Nope, it doesn't matter at all

Dolphin's writer Armando Salguero on the fallout of the Chris Chambers trade....

I don't give a hoot about what it means for Ted Ginn Jr. and Derek Hagan. And I don't really care about what it means about the rest of this season.

I only care about what happens with that second round pick. Nothing more.

Nope, it's absolutely not important for a receiver that was picked in the 3rd round last season and the other first round (9th overall) receiver to be getting any additional playing time now.

I get that this trade won't mean anything if Miami uses the 2nd round pick on a humming bird next April, but to say that you don't care what happens to Ginn and Hagan is beyond me. These guys are the future starting receivers on this team (or they should be at least), so if they're moving up the depth chart now and getting more time on the field....well that's pretty important if you ask me.

But it doesn't matter folks. It doesn't matter if Ginn starts the remaining 10 games and earns a Pro-Bowl trip as a result after catching 12 Td's and returning 5 more on kick-offs and punts. The 2nd round pick is the only thing that matters here....

Good Call...I'll be very interested in seeing how much run Ginn gets now...BTW...they better get younger on Defense with their draft picks next season...at this point I hope they trade down from their top three pick and acquire an abundance of picks ala the Jets that year they had four 1st round picks in the Parcells era...
