Prisco in a nutshell
Someone, anyone, tell me how this man keeps pulling in a paycheck from Sportsline.
Pete Prisco has been asking for weeks now in his Power Rankings when Miami is finally going to start John Beck. He mentioned it again last week and since the page gets updated every week, I figured I'd just put a screen shot for you. (Click to view a larger image)
They're the lone winless team now that the Rams have left them behind. When is John Beck going to play? I'll ask the question every week until he's put in the starting lineup.
So, the change has finally been made and this is Prisco's response when he made his picks for this week's games...
Leave it to the Dolphins to throw the rookie quarterback in on the road at Philadelphia. John Beck starts this week, and it won't be in a friendly spot. Look for the Eagles to blitz the heck out of him and use turnovers to lead to a route.
So, to recap. He wants Miami to start Beck and now that the move has been made, he makes it look like a bad thing.

He's looking for a rise, I guess. But Beck would never have a chance at success with Cam Cameron's horrible playcalling. You only need to look at the first drive and the failed lone red zone opportunity. No creativity at all. No moving the pocket. No faith in his players at all.
Well, some of that playcalling was a bit odd, but keep in mind that he had a rookie qb making his first start and no Ronnie Brown.
That will change things a little.
Even the selection of running plays and the pattern of when he passed (down/distance) left much to be desired.
